Student Health and Welfare
Accidents and illness in students do occur from time to time. Where this is the case, initial treatment is administered by a School Administration Officer or other staff member trained in emergency care. If at all necessary, parents will be contacted to seek further treatment.
In the event of serious accidents or illness it is essential that the school has current details for any emergency contacts or any medical conditions which may influence your child's treatment.
The school keeps a record of more serious accidents showing date and type of treatment. Parents are advised that, for minor cuts and abrasions, Aloe Vera or Lontane antiseptic will be applied. Stingose may also be used when appropriate.
Medications
Students are not to bring medications (prescribed or over-the-counter) to school. If your child requires medication during the school day, please contact the school office for details.
